I went to school, kept out of trouble, got excellent grades, and was finally able to go to college.
After graduation I got a “good job” Selling advertising for a local radio station. I married the most beautiful woman I know and tried to be productive and hardworking.
Within 5 months, my new apartment was ready. “adult” Life was a trap. It was like being trapped under the surface of the earth.-To-The day grind of a 9-5.
While weekends, evenings, and weekends were enjoyable, Mondays came too fast for me and I hated them.
Literally every Sunday night, as I was taking out the trash I would go outside to look at the stars and pray. “God” help me to find a job that I don’t hate.
I didn’t want to go to bed because I knew what boring, pointless, and unfulfilling work lay ahead in the morning.
I wanted to wake up in the morning on my terms (not by an alarm) and not have to report to a place with miserable people doing work which ultimately didn’t amount to anything.
Not only was the work a drag, but the pay and schedule weren’t great either.
Sure we could pay our rent and buy groceries, but there wasn’t much left over to save, give, or enjoy. I certainly wasn’t keeping pace with all of my college buddies who went on to be doctors, lawyers, or investment bankers.
I also discovered that there were three small letters that had a lot of power in my life: PTO, Paid Time Off.
It turns out that in the “real” world, you can only take but so many days off for vacation, sickness, or even going to the DMV to renew your driver’s license!
This was worse that college! I felt at least some freedom back then.
There had to have been a better way!
Around 2006-2007 was the year I first heard about passive income businesses that made money blogging.
What would it be like to earn a living doing something that I love, helping others, all from the comfort of my own home or at my favorite coffee shop?!
It sounded good to me, as I wanted less work so that I could spend more time with my spouse and our eventual children. It’s like, you could make breakfast together, get them to school, and then be back home for dinner.
Having that kind of flexibility would be worth it – even if I didn’t make any more money than I was making at my current day job
But that’s the thing – these bloggers and online business owners were making 6 figures, some even 7 figures!
They were able to have flexibility and high incomes.
While doing this, they created articles and videos about topics they are passionate about.
Perhaps you are also thinking about setting up an online business, or looking for passive income.
But the reality of it is a lot more daunting and there’s just too much information out there (much of it conflicting) that it makes you want to throw your hands up and give up.
It’s much easier to just keep doing what you’re doing, working your 9-5. Living your best life.
I’m here to tell you that it’s not your fault.
Passive income as it’s sold “out there” It is a myth.
Here’s the general premise:
Step 1: Start blogging or making videos on YouTube (oh, and start a podcast while you’re at it. These are back in fashion!
Step 2: Talk about whatever you’re interested in.
Step 3: Create a digital product
Step 4: Make the digital product available for sale
Step 5: Once you’ve got it all setup you won’t have to touch it again.
Step 6: Take a year of vacation, live on the beach and watch the money flow into the bank account
Step 7: To make it even more profitable, you can buy Facebook ads.
This is absurd!
Just randomly blogging or making videos isn’t a strategy. YouTube has over 5 billion users each day!

It is a resounding Yes!
However, the word “passive” This is misleading
Passive in the way I’ve discovered it, doesn’t mean you don’t work.
This is because you only do a set amount of work but earn disproportionately (i.e. scalable) results!
Passive is a better word for me than automatic.
Automatic Income It is possible, and it is actually quite possible. over the past decade or so I’ve slowly and quietly built a 7 figure online business that puts money in my pocket automatically each and every day, whether I’m at the office, or at the beach, or having dinner with my family, or even sleeping.
