Silka Troels Folmann, Academy Award, TEC, and G.A.N.G Award-Winning Composer, and Producer, produced the film. Silka It is a deep-sampled, new-generation choral library that is dedicated to expressive, realistic, and easy choral writing. It includes over 63.500 samples, as well as a wealth new features such our easy-to-use polyphonic legato. Silka It also includes several new types and variations of legato, such as dynamically layered intimate legatos, and a variety of rhythmic or textural articulations.

Silka Can be the falling star in the summer sky. It is powerful enough to handle even the largest compositions. Your compositional brush should be used in a subtle and gentle way. It can be dramatic and ethereal, or roaring and angelic. It is an immersive instrument designed to cover the true emotion and motion of choral writing – from the delicate to the legendary.
The soul of Silka Master conductor Petr Polonanik hand-picked 40 males and 25 women. This is the same group that we use in our Insolidus Choir. These sessions were conducted over two weeks using a new method of sampling that makes it easy and fluent to work with. It was a costly endeavor that resulted in a total of 103GB of choral material reduced to 49.6.
A wide range of new sampling and recording techniques were introduced into Silka – making it the most realistic, instantly playable and lyrical symphonic choir in existence. There are new articulation options, like our Syllable Arcs. These allow you to adjust the number of syllables (2, 4, and 5) that the choir uses. You can create a wide range of new rhythmic Staccato Legatos as well as many other rhythmic or textural articulations. You now have a velocity-based Intimate True Legato to Ah, Eh or Oh, Uh, and Mmmmm.
Silka It includes an advanced phrase builder that allows you to create up 64 strings of syllables.
Silka It contains over 66.600 samples and 8 microphone positions (Mixes Decca Far, Wide, Wide and Spot 1-4) The library revolves around an extensive collection of carefully sampled vocal articulations. The library also includes an advanced phrase-builder, which allows you to create choral phrases that are completely authentic. With up to 64 slots, the intuitive phrase builder allows you to create long strings with words.
