I’ve been here before. For the 10,000th time I’m down to my last 2 grand. Most would say it’s dysfunctional. I say living life on someone else’s terms is dysfunctional.

At 6am, walk into the coffee shop. Packed house. A liquid cigarette (espresso) slides into my hands. Tastes like motor oil. It makes you irritable. My first victory every morning is one over myself.

So long as I have ammunition I’m sending rockets into the abyss.

My last cash will be tied to multiple baseball games’ outcomes by 4pm. I’m going all in. Hoping to be successful. If I don’t, so be it. Luck never gives, but only luck can lend.

See, money doesn’t bring me peace of mind. My stronghold is. If I go broke, I’ll wake up a hellhound the next day and get right back into Olympic weightlifting, I’ll be at my steakhouse for dinner, I’ll make an appearance at the lounge.

My network includes exotic animals. “Normal” people don’t make the rounds at these places.

I don’t take money seriously. Because I need it, I always have it. I only eat what I kill.

I take my routine very seriously. You can’t do anything else if you take away my routine. It’s the Great Equalizer. It’s made me the creature that I am.

I don’t let rage combust inside me like dynamite in an apple core. I make my demons slaves and force them to gain insane amounts of weight. Don’t kill your demons. Get them to work.

Your demons can do twice the damage they did to you when unleashed against obstacles.

You must understand that you cannot be as strong as you can physically, and you will not have enough health resources to support yourself. Hardcore voyaging requires all your health.

Strength is a narcotic. A man who is perfectly strong is also a very simple person. Everything else is just play.

I’m in the Holy City. There’s no sin here like the great myths say. Take risks, smoke, spirits, and sex. Uncaged. Primal desires can be virtuous and not sinful. The act of pretending to be the beast in you is denying it. To pretend to be sin is to do it.

Tomorrow is my last day of weightlifting, coffee shop where wealthy people linger, and another steak meal. I’m so well known here now, I have a house account. If I feel the need, I can open a new tab each night and then pay it off at the end.

Clearly looks like it’s going to be a foul ball. It seems to be moving forever. We only hear a huge GONG. It’s my heart exploding against my chest cavity. My neck balloons an inch. Nope. The gong isn’t my heart. It’s the ball slamming against the foul pole. In baseball, if the ball hits the foul pole (extremely rare) it’s an automatic home run.

You can run 4 times in a single second. It’s a Grand Slam. I’m now winning 6-3. Only 2 more innings. I was Down, but never out. GM goes nuclear. He leaps into my booth, and begins rocking the joint like an octopus in a canoe. My adrenaline is leaking out like a steampipe that has been smashed open with a sledgehammer. I’m trained for calm. Keep calm. Act like you’ve been here before. There is still a lot to do.

Had that ball curved a CENTIMETER right or left this story wouldn’t have been born. It takes a while to realize how many inches are around you. They’re everywhere. $57,000 cash awaits my return to the casino cage. I was the stronger man today. But it was only today. I’ll be back on a plane the following morning to collect. It might seem exhausting. It is.

I changed reality to my will. Over and over, I made a lot of money. Then, it was over. All of it. And to this day …. I don’t regret a mother fucking thing.

It is time to take a conscious decision …. now to end your misery. Be completely honest with yourself about your analysis. The greatest lie we tell ourselves is the one that we tell ourselves. Are you content? Is this the life you want?

Unbeknownst to most of us, life DOMESTICATES 99.99%. Star athletes, child prodigies, men with passions, men who have dreams, men with dreams, men who have a spark in the eye and a lust for life most men end up weak and fat.
