Dr. Steinberg has a private practice in Los Angeles that is devoted to older adults and their caregivers. He offers evaluation, consultation, as well as psychotherapeutic services for older adults in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and other medical facilities. Dr. Steinberg offers counseling, educational and outpatient consultation services to older adults and their caregivers to aid in the handling of dementia.
Dr. Steinberg has been licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania as well as New York and California. He graduated from the California School of Professional Psychology at Berkeley. His work has been published in print, television, and radio.
His role is to help families understand the disease process and medically manage patients with dementia. Some of his best talents include educating staff about how to manage various patient behaviors non-pharmacologically.
