For many years, I have felt that it was very difficult for most individuals to learn to scalp from the tape or even read the order flow – it simply moved too fast for most people to keep up. Teaching was made difficult by technology. The screen sharing often lags behind the screen recording frame rates, which was way too slow for most people. Even if the teacher was present, it was hard for students to concentrate on the tape blurring by.

This is all changing. The Recordings are clear and crisp. Screen sharing is almost in real time. We can now pause the action in live market feeds to point out subtle changes. Programming innovations have also made it possible for most traders to learn how to scalp from the tape.

During the live workshop we explained in detail how a professional scalper would use the tape, DOM and chart. Three perspectives, three methods of reading order flow. Entries, exits, targets, stops – it’s all in here. Methodology, setups and suggestions about which markets are easiest to enter, which ones are the most difficult, and why. Live analysis of market conditions, participation of attendees in calling entries, and demonstrations on how to stay on top of the market. The Correct way to adjust to changes in the market or to move to a new instrument. This article covers everything you need to get started on your journey towards becoming a successful scalper.

You will receive the latest tape reading video in addition to the training sessions. “Scalping for Income” – this video contains over four hours of recorded trades and scalping sessions in the ES, NQ, and CL and will greatly augment the live training.

The training sessions focus on scalping and reading order flow. However, they also show you how to use the same techniques for drastically improving your entries and perfecting your trading setups. The training is not only for scalpers but also applies to intraday traders.

NOTE: We demonstrated a new type of Time and Sales that can greatly increase your chances of becoming a successful tape reader during the workshop. While we used this extensively in the course, we also showed how to do it with your built-in T&S. After using the Jigsaw Trading Tools we highlighted, however, you won’t want to use the standard version.
