People develop habits and patterns that they follow regularly. They do this for a reason. These patterns were created as coping strategies for young people. These patterns worked in the moment and were reinforced by repeated use.
Human beings have a tendency to continue doing what is working. These patterns may not be efficient or effective, but they work once and can be continued.
