Fun should be the goal of training
My biggest benefit was the list of exercises, and the logic.-Sequential progression. It’s why I bought the product. Floor One Program because I didn’t know how it worked (as I did for something simpler …. such as a one).-armed push-up). Looking back, the specific benefit that really made a difference was the increased confidence I felt when I read the manuals on Day 1. It is easy to see the whole path from A-Z.
Also, I want to add that I find the writings so funny and fun. Training should be fun, so I don’t know why most training products are so boring. GMB Team, this is a great production!
Training does not make you an athlete.
Modern fitness training says you can achieve your athletic potential in the gym.
Real athletes don’t. The best athletes in any sport spend hours training. They practice their jumping mechanics. They practice agility and balance drills. They improve their spatial awareness. They perform fine motor tasks in their sport such as shooting, passing and ball handling.
These skills are what separate true athletes from average fitness enthusiasts, and you can easily see the difference between their performance.
It’s not just more strength and greater endurance. It’s grace under pressure. It’s the ability to change direction easily. It’s all those improvised moments of physical prowess that separate the truly athletic from the merely fit.
Standing in a handstand
Of course, you’re not a pro athlete, and training like one isn’t feasible for you. You still need to combine athleticism and fitness. It’s nice to be strong and fit and look nice, but the real reward comes from applying that to having fun in the real world, which is as unpredictable as any sport.
The majority of those sports are, fortunately, very popular.-Specific drills used by athletes can be reduced to a handful basics that you can do to improve your ability.
In Floor One, you’ll learn a fun way to develop real athleticism by practicing four basic categories of movements.
The 4 Basic Classes of Athletic Movement
To build a comprehensive foundation for the kind of dynamic movement that defines true athleticism, we’ve chosen four broad classes of skills for F1. These skills can be used for any activity.
Do a controlled jump practice

1. Controlled Jumps
Jumps are the most important power move. However, few people do much practice with jump mechanics outside of a few sports. We’ll tighten your jump technique, teach you to land with control, and increase the complexity by adding 180° and 360° spins while airborne.

2. Hand balance skills
Even though most sports don’t require handstands, they’re a great tool for developing shoulder stability and spatial awareness. Floor One Include practice in the crow pose and elbow levers as well as a freestanding handstand. Also included are developmental exercises to help you get your hands down solid.
Effectively balance on one leg
3. Single-Leg Balances
Athletic movements require you to shift your balance between one leg and the other. We’ll build your static balance skills first with the front and back scales, then take them off the ground with the flying pirouette transition to build dynamic balance that never fails.
Masting a cartwheel
4. Basic skills in tumble
Tumbling can be used to learn how to get from the ground to standing up and back again. They are also useful in saving your neck from a fall. F1 involves cartwheels and some basic skills such as back and front somersaults and cartwheels. These skills help you to improve spatial awareness and comfort when inverted.
Why You Can’t Just Start Practicing Complex Skills
Why not add some jumps and cartwheels into your routine? Complexity. Complexity of athletic movements is impossible
The brain must be able to process a flood of sensory information and activate the correct muscles at the right time. It is essential that you start with the basics, and then work your way up.
F1 uses every movement and combination to train your body and teach your brain new skills.
For example…
Start With a 180° Jump
Demonstrating an easy upward jump
Jump with a Half-While twist might seem easy, it is not difficult to master. However, consistent practice of the correct technique will help you build strength and control.
Add a Back Scale
Balance on a backscale
It is a straightforward pose that allows for flexibility and balance.
You Get a Pirouette
Practice an aerial pirouette
Everything you gained from the 180° and back scale goes into doing a good pirouette, which builds your higher-You can order dynamic control
Which is Part of a Flow
Body movement flow gif
Linking the pirouette with other complex movements in F1’s flow routine trains your body for complete athletic capability.
You might be able to make your skills more effective.
When we talk of practicing the skills in Floor OnePeople worry about how to maintain their strength and endurance. In practice, it’s not a problem. It’s all about choosing skills that will challenge you.
Building athletic skills
Increase strength and endurance for extended periods (straight).-Straightening the leg and the straightening of your legs-arm)
Develop explosiveness (jumps, controlled landings).
To support your weight through transitional movement, condition your wrists & ankles
Splitting the handstand
A Systematic Approach for Increasing Complexity
You’ll experience a significant increase in your balance, spatial awareness, agility, and coordination.
You can make strength exercises into skill exercises, and then again to be strength exercises after you have practiced.
After a few weeks, you’ll be moving in ways you never thought possible – finally displaying a bit of that physical mastery that separates real athletes from the casual gym-goer.

Don’t Get Stuck – Programming Designed for Continual Progress without Stalling
Unlike some programs that give you a single workout to repeat forever, GMB recognizes that you’ll require different strategies as your strength and skills develop. That’s why Floor One Includes four phases that build on each other to ensure you are making steady progress.
Stacey doing a “frogger stretch”
Phase 1
Attribute development
There’s more to learning fun skills than watching some tutorials, so we start F1 by building your strength, balance, and flexibility.
Jeff in a spiderman stretch on the ground
Phase 2
Skill Development
Once you’ve build the basic capabilities, Phase 2 introduces more skill focus and complex movements that will ingrain new motor patterns.
Sidney performing monkey locomotion
Phase 3
Acquisition of Flow
Once you’ve developed the basic level of body control to execute each skill, we begin building combinations that offer even greater challenge and stimulation.
Ryan balances in a one-leg crow stretch
Phase 4
Flow “Mastery”
After several weeks of strength and skill practice, you’ll work to smooth out the transitions and cut down the rest time for more efficient applied movements.

Am 48, overweight, unfit smoker and drinker … and in 3 weeks the incremental changes to my physique and fitness have motivated me more than I have ever felt in 20+ years of “self-taught” (= self)-Exercise that causes injury.

I could not even begin to do the tripod hold, now … 3 weeks in, I just did the extension (the reason for me writing) and am completely amazed at how much strength and control I now have over my own body.
With a gorgeous 18 month old daughter I am sure I will spend the rest of my life working these plans if only to stay in shape to keep up with her … so thanks again and look forward to spending way too much time with you guys virtually in the future.
Your program was perfect for my lifestyle. I live in Singapore and travel around Asia every week. It allowed me to do what and when I wanted to, all from the comfort of home.
Thank you

It was a wonderful experience. I realized that one doesn’t need a gym when there is GMB.
It’s so shiny, well designed and streamlined. The program charts/logs make it so easy to track progress and growth.
This year will be a good one for movement.

F1
GMB F1 training helped me build strength.
GMB F1 has given me strength and more energy.
Every day, I must walk 80 steps up and down to reach my office. These steps are climbed and walked at least 6 times per day. At first, I wasn’t feeling out of breath. However, I did feel slightly fatigued when I began doing this. Although I didn’t feel like I was doing cardio to cope with this, I noticed a change in my legs after week 3. I felt stronger and faster, and I reached the top of the GMB program with less effort.
F1 has also helped with my balance, which has led to a greater ability to finish the skills. F1 gives you a lot more than lifting weights. It’s so much more fun and fulfilling.
Your program is something I am always talking to. I love it.
