Bessel A. van der Kolk, M.D., is a clinician, researcher and teacher in the area of post-Traumatic Stress. His research integrates the developmental, neurobiological and psychodynamic aspects as well as interpersonal aspects of trauma and its treatment.
Dr. van der Kolk He and his collaborators have written extensively about the impact trauma has on development.
