Dr. Wyss Is a board-A doctorate is required to become a certified art therapist and a marriage or family therapist. in expressive therapies, and is also the coauthor The Invisible String Workbook. As Director of Training in a secure group home, psychiatric hospital and other non-profit organizations.-Dr. Wyss specializes in Clinical supervision, staff training, treatment of complex developmental trauma. Because of her expressive therapy background, she has created individual and group programs that combine art, music, poetry and animal assisted therapy. in The healing process for clients as well as the self-Care of staff. She is passionate about helping individuals find their passion, creativity, hope, and purpose. Dr. Wyss She is a national trainer for The Center for Trauma Training as well as a consultant for the state-A wide range of trainers and consultants to offer workshops and raise awareness on the commercial sexual exploitation children and young people.
Dr. Wyss Florida State University was where she received her undergraduate education. Her studies were focused on English, Art, Psychology and Art. After She spent a few decades traveling the world before she settled down. in Southern California as a group leader of children with complex developmental trauma. She then pursued a master’s degree from Loyola Marymount University where she learned the true healing nature of expressive therapies. Dr. Wyss The next few years were filled with work and creations. She was drawn to Lesley University because of her love for art and research. She has many research interests but her current focus is on the use of art.-Based research to develop empathy and understanding of self-Injurious behavior, exotic animal assisted therapy in Residential treatment and the effect and impact of non-Traditional materials in Art therapy sessions and group therapy. Dr. Wyss You are currently located in California, where she loves to travel and create her own art.-Care and healing
