Carol Kershaw, Ed.D., Is a licensed psychologist in Private practice and co-Director of The Milton H. Erickson Institute of Houston. She is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, a member of American Psychological Association and Approved Consultant to the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.

She is also a member in good standing of the International Society for Hypnosis. She is the author of the book entitled, The Couple’s Hypnotic Dance and many other articles have been published, including on the use hypnosis in diabetes, childhood asthma and trauma resolution. Family Therapy Magazine invited her to be a guest author. Dr. Kershaw has been invited by AAMFT to give workshops and lecture at Erickson Congresses, Evolution of Psychotherapy conferences, ASCH annual scientific meetings, and ASCH’s annual scientific meetings. in Canada, South America and Europe. She was also invited by Saudi Arabia to be a part of a trauma team. Dr. Kershaw sings with the internationally acclaimed St. Paul’s United Methodist Church Choir and has sung with the Houston Ballet, in Westminster Abbey, York Minster in England, Thomas Kirsche in Germany and the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.
