Kathleen M. Chard, Ph.D., is a co-CPT creator and director of the Trauma Recovery Center at Cincinnati VA Medical Center. Dr. Chard Oversees the dissemination and use of CPT by mental health professionals in the United States. Co-author-Author of Cognitive Processing Therapy For PTSD: A Comprehensive Model (The Guilford Press, 2017). Author of CPT for Sexual Abuse Treatment Manual (2012). (2012).-After the speaker, Dr. Chard Over 5,000 US clinicians have been trained in CPT using veterans, active military personnel and civilians. She also supervises thousands of trainees. She is also co-author.-17-year-old chair-Site study to compare CPT and Prolonged Exposure in veterans of the US, plus a $6 million research-dollar Department of Defense study about the assessment of PTSD. She was a past editor of Journal of Traumatic Stress and is currently a professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences at the University of Cincinnati.
