Lisa FerentzLCSW-C, DAPAHe is an expert on strengths-based, de-She is a pathologized therapist for trauma and has been practicing private medicine for more than 35 year. She is an international speaker and keynote speaker, as well as a consultant for mental health professionals in the United States, Canada and the UK.
She was an adjunct professor at many universities and is the founder of “The Ferentz Institute,” Now in its 11th year, it provides continuing education for mental health professionals. It has graduated over 1,200 clinicians through her two certificate programs in Advanced trauma treatment.
She was elected the 2009 “The Best of 2009”. “Social Worker of Year” Maryland Society for Clinical Social Work. Lisa Is the author of Self-care-Destructive Behaviors in Trauma Survivors: A Clinician’s Guide, 2nd Edition (Routledge, 2014), Letting go of your self-The Workbook for Hope and Healing: Destructive Behaviors (Routledge 2014) Finding Your Ruby Slippers: Transformative Life Lessons From the Therapist’s Couch (PESI, 2017). Lisa Also hosted a weekly radio talk-show, blogs, and writes articles for websites about self-Self-harm and harm-Care and teach on numerous webinars.
