Introduction

My name’s Simon I am the author of this course. I am originally from Canada. I have lived the Zero Tax Nomad lifestyle for many decades. I will be sharing some of my knowledge from thousands of meetings and years of business experience, as well as the wisdom I gained through living outside the box for many years. My main focus is on tax optimization. However, I also discuss how to obtain a second passport and a new residence, how to register your business in another country, best asset protection strategies, lifestyle hacking, long-term planning, and how to get out of debt.-term planning. I am not trying to tell you. “do that” but to inform you about all options so you can make better decisions in both your personal and professional lives. Citizenship: A little history

In the Greek city, thousands of years ago, the very idea of citizenship was first introduced.-states. Citizenship was a huge privilege back then. It distinguished free men from slaves and women, as well as barbarians. It wasn’t the right it is today and could be revoked due to a change of economic status or a criminal conviction. This not only made you a free man with good economic status, but it also enabled you to take part in public life. Aristotle even famously stated that such participation was essential. “To take no part in the running of the community’s affairs is to be either a beast or a god!”.

The Romans took the Greek idea of citizenship and made it an empire.-Building tool. They granted citizenship to a vast portion of the empire’s population and by doing so, they legitimized their rule over those they had conquered. They provided citizens with rights, expectations, and obligations. They made them feel Roman. We think the most important thing about them was that they instilled the belief that all citizens should be treated equally under law.

Over the thousands years that have passed since the time of ancient Rome and Greece, the meaning and definition of citizenship have changed, but the concept that citizenship is participation in public life, equal treatment, and participation in public life has not changed.

Multiple forms of citizenship are available today. The most popular form of citizenship is the national. It is so common that almost everyone has this form of citizenship. Although it is typically granted at birth, most people can obtain it through naturalization.

One form of citizenship that is not national is the supranational one. The European Union is an example of a supranational organization. This form of citizenship can be a way to get citizenship from another member of the organisation. You can get the German citizenship in a short time if you are unable to go through all the steps of becoming a citizen. Instead, get the Bulgarian citizenship in two years and use it to reside in Germany as an EU citizen. The future is likely to see a dramatic increase in the number of citizens who are pursuing citizenship through free movement within UNASUR or CARICOM.

Territorial citizenship is another option. This type of citizenship is only available to select countries and is not common. Hong Kong and Macau are examples. The citizens of these territories are full citizens of the People’s Republic of China but their right of abode is restricted to the territory in which the citizenship was issued (Hong Kong or Macau). Even though they have a Chinese passport, they are not allowed to live in the rest the country.

Cultural citizenship is another option. This form of citizenship, while common, isn’t very useful. It is certainly not something worth trying in the context of independence. The Commonwealth of Nations is an excellent example of cultural citizenship. Members of the Commonwealth of Nations receive citizenship “some” Benefits in other member countries, such as the right of vote in certain elections.

Citizenship: Positioning

The main objective of a long-term project is to achieve the following:-Positioning should be given to the term Zero Tax Nomad. This logic is quite simple. With the rise in supranational organisations such as the EU and UNASUR/MERCOSUR allowing it to be possible to have the right of abode across entire continents often very easily, the logic is clear. By becoming a French citizen, one can work and live in most European countries. A Peruvian citizen can also expect to enjoy freedom of movement and equal opportunities in almost all of South America once UNASUR/MERCOSUR has completed implementation (half).-Restricted freedom of movement is already possible

You have the option to take advantage of a variety of shortcuts that allow you freedom of movement. It takes just two years to become naturalized in Argentina, as opposed to the usual 3 years.-5 are required for UNASUR countries. This means that someone can immigrate from Argentina to seek a job in another UNASUR member.-After citizenship has been obtained, you can no longer state. Similar situations are found in the European Union, CARICOM, and elsewhere where certain countries sell their passports or participate in investment programs (see section 4.4.3).

Today, there are four supranational organisations that grant some form freedom of movement to their citizens. (Or implementation is underway). The most well-known supranational organization is the European Union, followed by CARICOM, NAFTA/USMCA and UNASUR/MERCOSUR. The benefits of accessing so many countries via these organizations are quite obvious. Just imagine being able live and work in almost sixty countries!

Most people will choose to get one new citizen, but it might interest you to know that it is possible to become a citizen in each of these organizations in less time than five years. (See section 4.2).
