This book was quite expensive so I procrastinated about buying it. But that was a mistake. It basically covers the topics of Dow and wave counting. TheoryBut how do you go about it? Elliot Wave counts are what I’m referring to when I refer to wave counting Theory. Everyone who takes a serious look to Elliot Wave will discover that nobody can count waves in any reasonable time frame on a chart. This book will show you how to make it all mechanical. I then went on with his concepts to develop software for Tradestation that counts waves (something that was not commercially available that I could find) and then developed a very successful mechanical trading program for the S&P from it. I laughed because wave counting was something I had never thought of as a successful mechanical systems trader. It is a simple, concise and powerful book. Although the book is quite old, it’s still very relevant to 1977. Anyone who wants to develop trading strategies based on solid numerical concepts, and learns different perspectives for cyclical analysis in stock market markets, should read it.
