A major voice-over event was held in November, just a few days before the election.
I hosted my annual VOICE-OVER-REVOLUTION event.
This year, the two-day event was completely different.
Dave Fennoy is one of the most renowned VO artists worldwide and agreed to be my partner.

Who are you? Bill DeWees Dave Fennoy
In case you don’t know me, I’m Bill DeWees. I’m based in the “Chicago Area”. I’m a business and media veteran. I’ve recorded thousands of commercials, corporate projects, promos, and audiobooks.
I’m best known as the global signature voice of the “Chevrolet, find new roads” campaign. My credits also include Warner Bros., Sears, American Express, Microsoft, Dell, Cisco, Johnson & Johnson, John Deere, AstraZeneca, Merck, Verizon, Adidas, Purina, Lowe’s, Whirlpool, Wild Planet Toys, Accenture, and National Geographic.
My experience includes radio, television and business/marketing consulting. I also teach college courses.
I wrote the book, too. “How to Start and Build a 6-Figure Voice Over Business.”
I’m writing this message to you on a computer.
(I can hear you say,)… Uh… Ok… soooooo….???
You could write this message on a typewriter. Then I sent it to your address via the post office.
But… I didn’t!
Why?
It would have been:

What is the result? The result? Very few people make a decent portion-time, let alone a full-Time income in the voice-over industry
Technology has made the world a better place over the last several decades.
Think about it…
Transportation, communications, media, manufacturing,… most every part of our lives has been turned upside down by technology and the new economy.
Most industries… get it!
In contrast, most VO Talent continues to use outdated methods to grow their careers. Often because they’ve been taught that way. Sometimes because they follow the rest of the crowd (who are also failing) because they simply don’t know what else to do.
The result. Frustration and failure.
It’s not your fault. You just haven’t learned the NEW rules of the voice over game!
