Bruno Bettelheim (August 28, 1903 – March 13, 1990) was an Austrian-Self-made-Be educated Psychoanalyst His academic career was the bulk from 1944 to 1973 when he worked as a psychologist at the University of California, Berkeley. Ronald David Laing, usually cited as R. D. Laing, was a Scottish psychiatrist who wrote extensively on mental illness – in particular, the experience of psychosis. R.D. R.D. Glasgow University.
