Ronald David Laing, usually cited as R. D. Laing, was a Scottish psychiatrist who wrote extensively on mental illness – in particular, the experience of psychosis. R.D. Paul Watzlawick, In 1949, he received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Venice. He has an Analyst's Diploma from the C.G. Jung Institute for Analytic Psychology, Zurich. Watzlawick has been practicing psychotherapy for over 30 years. He was a research associate and Principal investigator at the Mental Research Institute. 3. Communication is a shared effort between all partners. They also have to interpret each other’s behaviours during communication.
4. Human communication involves both verbal and Non-verbal communication. Nonverbal communication is available in addition to spoken words.-Part of the communication is the spoken part (gestures and behavior, intonation, etc.).
5. Communication between people can be either symmetrical or complementary. This is determined by whether the communication is based in differences or parity.
