After spending some time at International Music College Freiburg, Friedemann He realized that jazz guitar was a bad choice. For the past two years, he tried to improve his playing technique every day for over two years. He was not good at practicing scales. Instead, he preferred to work under the watchful eye of his teachers. Friedemann He wrote songs.
Bernhard G. Hoffmann, his composition teacher and creative director at the school, heard him sing and told him about his guitar exam. “There is nothing more I can teach you”, Friedemann He left the program and moved to Holland. He took MediaMusic classes and saw the explosion in his songwriting.
The following four years will be decisive. Friedemann He performed in front over 100,000 people with his band, led his music in front a live orchestra and won two composition awards. His music was also selected for the Cannes Film Festival. He has received recommendations from songwriters Erwin Steijlen (Pink, Shakira) and René Merkelbach (Within Temptation), orchestrator Conrad Pope (The Hobbit, Harry Potter) and composer Jeff Rona (Traffic, God Of War III).
