How I stretch has changed
Focused Flexibility It has changed how I stretch.
In the past, I did dynamic stretches or static/PNF stretching separately. For static/PNF stretching, I now use the same pattern as FF: dynamic stretching followed with PNF. I find the dynamic movements make the PNF less uncomfortable so it’s easier to spend more time stretching. Because the movements are stronger close to my limits of flexibility, I think it helps reduce injury.
Although it is difficult to measure the increase in strength, my kicking (taekwon-do) has improved. The program describes a pancake stretch that I do almost every day.

How I stretch has changed
I didn’t really understand how to stretch before or how to breathe while stretching. Grouping of specific areas also helped a lot because I didn’t understand that before either! Videos are concise and straight to the point, which is great since stretching can be tedious enough without needing someone to talk about it for hours. It was a great format.
