There are many ways to learn something. You can learn something at multiple levels. Each jam track comes with a video showing you how to change the chords and how to use the scale and arpeggio instruments.
Analyze the chord progressions, and then lay out the tools that we want on the fretboard. This is what I call “a” “Powerpath” We then add rhythm ideas and moldable licks into the mix and begin to practice our solo.
Improve you skill level 1000%
Keep working on each jam track until it is easy to solo over. You will be able to compose lines on the spot, and follow the chord progression confidently and relaxed. This is when your skill level will skyrocket 1000%.
This track will not be your only mastery. You will experience a complete change in your ability solo over other tracks and soon you will find no track too difficult. You will feel like a pro when this happens.
Even though mastering one track can make a huge difference, this course offers ten. Five tracks are focused on melodic rock chord changes, while five tracks focus on multiple modes.
This is what you’ll get from this course
There are two videos that introduce the course and one for each jam track. These ten videos will guide you through each track and show you how to solve them. The left column of this page shows the topics I will be covering in each video.
There are ten challenges in this course. There are ten different jam tracks and ten different chord progressions we will be tackling one at a time. Focusing on a particular challenge, then solving the puzzle about which rhythms, scales, rhythms, or structure to use, we can learn high-level soloing while having a lot of fun.
