Description:
Recent studies have provided solid evidence to support the claim that highly-effective therapists are more effective than average. Participants will learn three strategies that distinguish the truly great from the average therapists in this workshop. Participants will also learn a simple method for measuring success rates that can be used to develop a profile of their most and least effective moments in therapy—what works and what doesn’t. Participants will not only get a better understanding of their clinical strengths, weaknesses, and how they can use these findings to improve their practice but also the concrete tools that will help them to increase their clinical effectiveness and efficiency.
Educational Objectives
- Describe three practices that highly-effective therapists use.
- Recognize those who are at highest risk of experiencing a negative outcome or dropping out of treatment.
