“My path to EasyLanguage Programming may seem complicated.
In 1974, I received a degree in Computer Science from SUNY Buffalo. We used punch cards to get around the limitations of PCs at that time. Mainframes occupied entire buildings. to You could not write computer programs without the Internet.
I was a programmer at McDonnell Douglas after graduation. I found it difficult to work in the corporate world, so I quit and began a second career.
In the early 1990s, I received a letter from Ken Roberts describing Futures trading. I was intrigued by the information and decided to take his course. I became addicted to trading.
I saw a TradeStation Demo at a trading seminar, purchased the software, and started writing code. Despite the fact that I hadn’t programmed in 20 years, it came back to me very quickly. Programming is a way I think, and I’ve always been good at programming.
There were just a few at the time. TradeStation So I started writing programs for programmers. Before I knew what, I was running a full-time company. I quickly acquired so many clients that I stopped trading and switched to my other business. to program TradeStation Full time.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve written indicators and strategies for hundreds and hundreds of clients. I have clients I still code for, who have been there since the beginning of my career. Larry Connors is another.
