We will be exploring the issues surrounding the development of truly integrative medicine. This is a medicine that integrates both conventional and alternative or complementary medical practices. Conventional allopathic medicine relies on Newtonian Physics and a biology that is based upon scientific materialism. This metaphysical belief states that matter is the basis of all existence. Next, we discuss quantum physics and the ways they can lead us to a science that is within the primacy consciousness. The metaphysics of consciousness being the ground of all existence, rather than matter, is what we do. It is clear that when medicine is created within the primacy and consciousness, it can be made holistic.

This course will explain why medicine requires an integrative philosophy and provide the conceptual basis. for Integrative medicine is a philosophy.
