J.J. Mowder-Tinney, PT, PhD, NCS, CSRS, CEEAA, was awarded her Bachelor of University of Psychology – Science in Psychology of Colorado, Boulder and her Master of The University of Science and Technology in Physical Therapy of Miami in Florida. She earned her doctorate from NOVA Southeast University in physical therapy. She is a veteran of over 20 years. of Experience in a variety of Clinical settings for the majority of Experience working with individuals with neuromuscular impairments. American Board of Neurologic Physical Therapy has awarded her certification as a clinical specialist for Neurologic Physical Therapy. of Physical Therapy Specialties. She is also a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS), and a Certified Exercise Expert in Aging Adults(CEEAA) from The American Stroke Association. of Geriatric Physical Therapy. She is currently Nazareth College’s Associate Professor in the department of physical therapy. She teaches Neuromuscular, which includes the onsite pro-bono clinic.  She has held seminars across the country on the Treatment. of Patients with Neurological deficits and Spinal cord injuries, Balance challenges, Parkinson’s Disease, and Spinal Cord Injury. The Academy presented her with the Excellence in Neurologic Education Award. of Neurologic Physical Therapy in 2017.
