Janina Fisher, Ph.D., A licensed clinical psychologist, and an ex-instructor at The Trauma Bessel van den Kolk founded Center, a treatment and research center. Expert on the Dr. Fisher Since 1980, she has been treating families, couples, and individuals.
She was the past president the New England Society for the Treatment for Trauma and Dissociation, an EMDR International Association, Credit Provider, Assistant Education Director the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Harvard Medical School, as an Instructor. Dr. Fisher Internationally and nationally, he lectures on subjects related to the Integration of the neurobiological research, newer trauma treatment paradigms and traditional therapeutic modalities.
She is also co-Autor with Pat Ogden of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy: Interventions to Attachment and Trauma (2015), author Healing the Fragmented selves Trauma Survivors Overcoming Their Internal Self-Alienation 2017 the The forthcoming book Working with the Neurobiological Legacy Trauma (in press).
