Description
Neuroanatomy can be overwhelming and complex. Clinicians working in rehabilitation are faced with growing caseloads, diminished resources/reimbursement, and increasingly medically complex patients with the expectation of improving outcomes and reducing length of stay. The ability to communicate clinically-Relevant neuroanatomy or neuropathology can be used to diagnose dysfunction and provide a framework for treatment.
Predetermining potential deficits leads to It allows for more specific diagnosis and facilitates treatment formulation. By deducing the patient’s experience, the clinician can also prepare for behavioral barriers to Engagement and understanding the healing process with more compassion.
Participants will learn intermediate in this recording-Level neurophysiology and how it relates to Cognitive-Learn linguistic skills and behavior control. Also, learn mindfulness techniques to reduce stress. The course’s overarching focus is to Enhance the clinical skills of healthcare professionals to spot potential dysfunction early and accelerate the treatment process to treatment. The course content will also include information for patients.-Focused educational materials are available for stroke and traumatic brain injuries to utilize by treating practitioners.
