While I was a student at the University of South Carolina in 2005, I tried working online. I signed up to an MLM program as well as a survey website. I got refunds from both, and decided that it was impossible to work online because everything was a scam. In truth, I was afraid to fail again.
2011 was my first year living in the city. with My wife and I started an online business that focuses on videogame addiction to try and avoid dealing. with Any of my other issues. After a few months I switched my business to selling shirts, as I realized that there was no money in gaming addiction. After I started my business, I quit my University of South Florida criminology PhD program to work full-time in my business. By then, my focus had changed to helping clients. with Facebook and Google Ads based on my own failures to make them successful for myself.
I began sharing my knowledge on YouTube free of charge in 2013 because I wanted to help more people. After failing in 15+ business models, I was almost bankrupt by April 2014. I nearly died trying to stop the pain. Fortunately, the fear of death drove me to recovery. My journey to recovery inspired me to be more focused on my service and less on the benefits I would receive. I took online courses in teaching. with Udemy quickly became my first real business. I partnered with I sought out as many skilled instructors as possible and learned from the best how to make my courses sell.
In 2015, my attempt to make inspirational videos about what I had learned during recovery received an overwhelming response on YouTube. To make my videos more interesting, the inspiration videos were made while I was playing video games. I hired a freelancer for the conversion of my videos to blog posts.
