Joni Gilbertson, MA. NCC, LCPC. LMHC.-TMH, CTMHBoard Certified Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed-Certified Telemental Health COPE Counseling Services, LLC is owned and operated by the founder/provider. She uses telemental to help individuals, couples, and families in coping with daily issues such as anger management, depression, suicide, and relationships. While currently residing in Florida, she is licensed in Illinois as well as Florida to provide mental health services.
Joni Over twenty trainings in Telehealth were completed. I also edited 16 online courses. for Telemental health. She is also a trained trainer in clinical and mental health first-aid, motivational interviewing, and clinical telemental. She is also certified to facilitate domestic violence and select other methods that increase client awareness. She frequently uses distance counseling to help diverse populations through video sessions and other technology. One of the first telehealth programs was started by her. for Court-Ordered clients, has more than ten years of experience using video sessions for Anger management and domestic violence programs are two examples.
Joni Also, she has had the opportunity to supervise a staff member of mental health in a hospital and interns within her own clinical practice. She has been a trainer for mental health agencies, children, family services, detention center employees, and first responders on mental health topics. She was the former Chief of Probation and Probation officer. for Designing and training staff in mental health issues like suicide awareness, personality disorders and substance use disorders.
Joni She is a former college instructor and worked in the Sociology Department, where she taught seventeen classes on legal and mental health. Recently she was nominated and awarded an award for “Teachers Who Make a Difference” Her engaging and dynamic teaching style is a major reason. Because of her passion for learning, she makes learning enjoyable for The topic of technology use for Mental health.
