Joni Gilbertson, MA. NCC, LCPC. LMHC.-TMH, CTMHBoard Certified Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed-Telemental Health Provider Certified the COPE Counseling was founded by the owner/founder Services, LLC. She uses telemental Health to Assist individuals, families, and couples with everyday coping strategies in areas such depression, anxiety, and suicide prevention. She is currently licensed as a Florida mental health professional and an Illinois licensee.
Joni Over twenty trainings were completed in telehealth. She also edited 16 online courses on telemental. She is a trained trainer in clinical telemental and mental health first aid as well as motivational interviewing. She is also certified for domestic violence facilitation, and other methods to increase client awareness. She frequently uses distance counseling. to Video sessions and other technologies can be used to work with diverse groups. One of the first she started was the First court telehealth programs-Over ten years experience in using video sessions to help clients with anger management and domestic violence issues.
Joni Also, she has had the experience of supervising mental health staff in hospitals and interns within her own clinical practice. She has been a trainer for mental health agencies, children, family services, first responders and employees in jails, prisons and detention centers regarding mental health topics as well as legal and ethical issues of relative concern. to Each population. She is a former Chief Probation and Probation officer and was responsible to design and train staff members in mental health issues, such as suicide awareness and personality disorders, substance abuse disorders and treatment strategies.
Joni This is a retired college instructor who was active within the Sociology Department, where she developed and taught 17 classes on legal and mental issues. Recently, she was nominated for and received an award. “Teachers Who Make a Difference” due to Her engaging and dynamic teaching style is a highlight of her career.
