Karen Pryor, Ph.D., PT, DPT, Dr. Has a doctorate of physical therapy and has been practicing for more than 40 years. Dr. Pryor Health Sphere Wellness Center is owned by Dr. David H. Smith, a Tennessee integrative therapy clinic. Participated in early intervention during the birth-Over 30 years she has been a part of the development of neuroplasticity methods that can be applied in a variety settings such as schools, childcare centers, and homes to help children with disabilities. Ten Fingers Ten Toes Twenty Important Things Everybody Should Know, is her first book.
Dr. Pryor Participates on several boards, including Leadership Interagency Council for Early Intervention (2014).-2024), a post she was appointed to by Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam (and Governor Bill Lee). In 2010, she received the President’s Volunteer Service Award for her contributions to the advanced treatment of children from President Barack Obama. Dr. Pryor As an adjunct professor, she has taught at Tennessee State University Occupational Therapy School and Volunteer State Community College’s Physical Therapy Assistant program. She is also a clinical instructor at many colleges and universities. Dr. Pryor The use of COMPASS neuroplasticity methods allows for a wider view on how therapy can be integrated throughout life.
