This video is a demonstration of Dr. Parnell The client presents with us. a History of physical abuse in childhood and sexual assaults. The client described symptoms of dissociation, and was currently in recovery.-Day triggers that she found troubling. She felt that the abuse had affected her interpersonal relationships and her ability to trust others.
This video shows how to use an Attachment-Concentrate on the use EMDR Through the therapeutic relationship, the utilization of resources and the modification protocol that allowed clients to feel secure enough to process the trauma material.
We started by We explored the history of the patient, her triggers and symptoms, and then we installed resources. We chose to focus on the earliest abuse memory, that of molestation by a She was stranger than she thought a young girl. The modified protocol was used to create the target. She was able to process very distressing materials without any apparent strong effects. There were some areas where the processing was stuck. Interweaves were necessary to free them. She dealt with the trauma until it was resolved completely, and then she used positive cognitions to help her. a Clear body scan and closed her with her resources.
