Shopify (the actual company) noticed that I was dropshipping quietly towards the end of 2018. Oberlo invited me to an interview and published it on their website. This, along with people inside Facebook groups finding I was very knowledgeable with dropshipping, led to the creation of my YouTube channel & teaching others.
In the summer 2019, I decided to launch my first paid product and promote it with YouTube ads. It was a complete failure. I was unsuccessful with any of my students, and I could not gain new interest as no one could testify for me.
I tried so many marketing approaches and split tests, but nothing that I tried with marketing worked.
This was when I realized my marketing wasn’t the problem.
So, I decided to scrap the original information product and focus on creating success stories for other people. I decided to only release YouTube content for free closer to November 2019. YouTube wasn’t the ideal learning environment for people, but they were still having great success.
Because I had an experience and felt something completely new, I was very excited.
It’s something amazing that can’t be explained, but I’ll try. It feels great to make money for yourself. It’s even better if you make a lot. Dropshipping is a great way to make money.
