The Core Training The Pros Use System…
My name’s Mike RobertsonHere’s a little secret:
Every coach makes mistakes, and I’m no different.
Two things struck me quickly when I began coaching 16 years ago.
1 – My core training was a favorite of my athletes.
2 – If done correctly, core training could increase their performance.
My athletes were thrilled that I included core exercises into their training program. But, I was still doing it. To be completely It is wrong.
I chose the wrong exercises.
I programed them in a completely random fashion.
And the worst part was, I wasn’t even coaching the exercises correctly!
So if we’re being honest and transparent here, I feel like I’ve made damn near every mistake in the book.
But if you know anything about me, you know I’m about as stubborn as they come, and I’m never willing to leave “good enough” alone.
I wanted better answers.
I wanted to consistently achieve great results for every client and athlete that I trained.
And I wasn’t going to stop until I had a system in place that could help me get better results!
Over the years, I’ve studied everything I could get my hands on to better understand the core. Now, I have been entrusted to assist some of the top athletes in the world, including pros from the NBA, NFL, and MLS, in getting them in the best shape possible.
Let me ask you if core training is something that interests you:
- Do you want to gain a better understanding of the anatomy, biomechanics and mechanics of the core?
- Do you desire a step?-By-Step by step guide to help you create better core training programs
- What coaching techniques do I use with athletes and clients?
Answer the question “Yes” To any (or all) of the above questions, then I want to tell you about….
COMPLETE Core Training
My goal as a coach and trainer is to create systems I can use time and again to help me get consistent results with my athletes and clients.
Complete Core Training gives YOU my step-By-Step by step guide to writing programs and coaching the exercises. This will help you and your athletes build the strength, resilience, and health they want.
Here’s an overview of what you’ll learn when you review the materials:
- The TRUE role of the core (HINT: it’s not about producing force!)
- Breathing is something we all do, but are our breathing patterns correct? Is it? “belly breathing” Are exercises doing more harm that good?
- How standard ab circuits don’t help build a strong core and aren’t enough (and what you should instead do)
- Why posture and position are so important in core training, and why they will have a negative impact on everything else.
- A brief overview of core training anatomy and its impact on your program design and coaching.
- What is hip flexor stretching? Does it help or hurt your clients and athletes with their hips?
- How to create a core training program that produces great results
This is a brief overview. Here’s a breakdown of each product’s components.
The Complete Core Training Videos
Module 1: Functional Anatomy Core Training Philosophy and Breathing
Module 1 will provide a deeper understanding about the core and its roles in the human body.
We’ll start with insight into anatomy and biomechanics. This may not sound very attractive, but it is essential for a good core training program. Once you understand the muscles of the core and how they influence both posture and position, you’ll immediately be ahead of the curve.
From there, we’ll focus on the true role of the core, and the techniques and strategies required to train it effectively.
We’ll finish up with an overview of breathing and proper breathing mechanics. The buzzword of breathing is huge in the industry, and there are tons of coaches and trainers talking about it.
But quite frankly, many are misguided in how they’re applying this. It’s not as simple as taking in big belly breaths to get the diaphragm working.
Instead, our goal is to understand how proper breath can affect posture, position, airflow, performance, and other aspects of life.
Module 2 – Hands-On Coaching Session
Module 2 is about proper coaching core training exercises. If you understand the anatomy, you’re well on your way to being more successful.
If you want to achieve maximum results, however, it is important to learn how to coach core training exercises.
In this section we’ll cover everything from ground-Core exercises for a stronger core, including advanced positions and positions like the tall- and half-back.-kneeling.
The cost of this module could be well worth it. If core training is something you do every day, you’ll find the information and observation skills you need to have an immediate impact on your clients.
Module 3 – Programm Design
You could be the best coach in the world, but if you’re coaching the wrong exercises, you’re not going to get optimal results.
Module 3 will provide you with unique insights into my core and program. “core training” Almost every aspect of this program.
Core training isn’t something you throw in at the end of a session. It is essential to ensure that your clients and athletes have a solid, stable, and resilient core throughout every training session.
This module will demonstrate how to do it and each step.-By-Step how to integrate core training into your warm activities-Ups and downs.
The Complete Core Training Manual
The videos have a lot of great content, but I wanted to elevate this product. You’ll also get a 173-A spiral bound, page-turning manual that can be divided into three sections.
Section 1 Core Training Transcript
Section 1 of the manual contains a reprint.-Written and revised transcripts from the videos above.
I don’t know about you, but if I can see something live and then read it as well, the material really starts to sink in.
And while I started with a basic transcript, it didn’t long for me to realize it could be cleaner and more concise.
To remedy this, I’ve gone back and literally re-This entire section was written to ensure that each point is clear and understandable.
Section 2 – Progressions, Exercise Coaching and Regressions
Section #2 will contain all of my core training exercises that I share with my clients. You’ll get a step-By-Step by step guide to setting up-How to do the exercise and what coaching cues you use. This alone is worth the admission price!
Section 3 – Programm Design
The final section of this manual will cover the details of program design. These videos will cover my thoughts about exercise selection and give an overview of how to create a core training program.
Here I’ll give you specific recommendations for the set/rep schemes, rest periods and time under tension protocols you’ll want to use to make sure you’re getting the training effect you want.
But wait! There’s more!
My goal is to provide exceptional value through my products and services.
