Dear fellow Amazon seller,
A few weeks ago, I was at a dinner with friends who also sell on. Amazon.
After a delicious dinner and some of my favorite wines, we began to talk about business.
Particularly, how to get reviews.
As you know, positive verified reviews You are key to higher rankings and greater sales.
So it’s always been a hot topic. But ever since Amazon Sellers were more interested in the topic after they changed the rules to eliminate some popular strategies and techniques.
I was expecting to hear fresh, new ideas and new ways to get reviews at this dinner party.
I was quickly disappointed.
Everyone kept complaining about the latest instead of sharing their ideas, strategies and concepts. Amazon Changes, it was so much easier back then.
They kept going on and on and I just sat there listening.
Finally, one asked me: “Paul, what about you? You seem to be okay with all these changes?”

And I responded: “No, I’m not. But I don’t care. I have a system I use to get positive verified reviews on a daily basis, 100% on autopilot.”
“You’re lying!“, they replied.
“It was too much wine“, they’d laugh.
At that point, I opened my laptop to show them the numbers from two products.
The laughter and disbelief of the children turned to sobering amazement.

You can see that my product received 953 reviews as of June 4, 2018.
Take a look at this screenshot, taken two weeks after I implemented the system.
1,065 reviews as of June 18th.
If you do your math you’ll see I received 8 reviews per day. And I’m still getting them.

But what is a “Messenger Chatbot?”
All technical jargon and mumbo jumbo-jumbo aside, Messenger Chatbots are predefined messages that are sent out to subscribers based upon their Facebook Messenger activities.

Let’s say that you sell some kind of kitchenware.
As a bonus, you offer a free eBook that contains delicious recipes to anyone who purchases it. Your customer can request this bonus by simply commenting on a post or sending a message to your FB Page. “Got it!”
Now, here’s where the fun starts.
Once your chatbot software is triggered by this action, your customer will receive a series pre-defined messages. These messages are designed with the goal of getting them to leave a review.
It’s something like this:
Chatbot: Hello, I’m Michael from Kitchenware Kittens. We appreciate you purchasing one of the products. As a gift, we’re sending you a free recipe book filled with delicious meals you can prepare for you and your family. I would like to send you an email with a download link.
Customer clicks Yes.
Chatbot: Great. Here’s the link to download your free recipe book. I’d like to ask you something, if that’s OK?
Customers click YES.
Chatbot: What are your thoughts about our product?
(Great; Very Much; Not Really; Not at All)
And now, based on your customer’s response, you can either ask them to leave a review on Amazon, or to ask them why they don’t like it, etc.
This is an example of a simple flow that I made up right now as I’m writing this.
It’s that easy. (Once you have mastered the process, it is possible to apply your knowledge and skills.)
And if all this sounds familiar to you, that’s because it is.
This is very similar in concept to what you could do with email. This begs the question: why am I so excited about it?
You see, even though email is still a powerful channel (and you should have it as a part of your marketing mix), it’s not what it used to be.
The open rates and clicks change from year to year.-Rates for through are decreasing.
You could have a high open-rate with email 20 years ago. It was possible to get as high as 80%.
Now, you’re considered an email marketing genius if you can pull off 25-30% Open Rate

It’s possible to imagine it.

My short answer is… YES.
