Trudy Suggs
Trudy SuggsCDI, a Deaf child of Deaf parents, worked as an educator and administrator. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Gallaudet University, and a master’s degree from University of Illinois-Chicago. Chicago. the Illinois RID Deaf Caucus, the Minnesota RID Deaf Interpreting Group, RID’s national CDI task force, and the Illinois State Police Communication Issues committee. Additionally, she has served on many boards such as the National Association of the Deaf and Blind the National Deaf Business Institute.
Trudy For over 15 years, she has also taught online courses, including nonfiction writing, grant writing, and Deaf History. In 2008, Trudy Received the Gallaudet University Alumni Association Outstanding Young Alumnus Award the National Association of the Deaf CEO’s Award. She was one of two recipients of the National Association of Secretaries of State Medallion Award in 2009 by Mark Ritchie, Minnesota Secretary of State.
