We will be using a Valjoux 23 chronograph calibre with an extra calendar, hour counter and additional calendar in this course. This model is known as the Valjoux72c.

It was first used by Heuer, Rolex and Patek Philippe in the 1920s.
Many chronographs have the same mechanism, but there are slight variations that we will discuss. This course will teach you how to adapt the information you learn to other chronographs, such as Venus and Lemania, Landon, etc.
The Vintage Chronograph The course is intended for watchmakers or students who have already learned the skills necessary to work with simple watches. This course will take the student to the next level, where he/she can work with complex watches like the chronograph or complicated calendar.
This type of mechanism requires a new skill set to be successful. When working with them, there are many pitfalls. You can avoid these pitfalls by following the correct techniques and using guidance. This watch is complex and we will walk you through it step by step. As a collector or student, you will have rare access to the world of complicated watches.
