Many therapists are not trained in dealing with sexual issues. Some clients might feel ashamed or embarrassed about discussing these issues with therapists. Sexual issues can be a concern for any client, regardless of whether they are couples or individuals. How can a therapist not trained in sex therapy openly discuss sexual desire issues with clients?
Find out how to determine low sexual desire in individuals, and what causes desire discrepancy within relationships. Participants will be able to discuss the most common treatments for sexual desire discrepancy. Dr. Viviana Coles We will share some of our evidence-based treatment methods from the Texas Sex Therapy Institute’s certification program and how clinicians can apply this methodology to their own clients. Participants will be able to confidently assist clients with problematic sexual issues and help them live a happier, more fulfilling sex experience.
