I’m writing this page you are reading from a cafe in the city of my hometown Brisbane, Australia.

When I was at university, I first connected to the internet and fell in love instantly with the web.

After launching several online businesses that were successful, I decided to start a blog. This opened up a new way to make money online.

Ten years later, I still blog and travel the world with my laptop.
I Was A Beginner…

When I first started my blog back in January 2005, I was an absolute beginner…

It was simple to learn how to blog and a lot of fun. I was able to establish a loyal and responsive readership.

My Blog Visitors numbers kept increasing day after day-By-From day to day I realized “Wow! I can actually make money with this!”So I started to experiment with different methods to make money.

Current updates to my blog are once per week. I make at least $10,000 US and up to $55,000 US every month.

And this is STABLE, reliable income (I’m still blogging for my living today – more than ten years later!It’s a foundational, solid foundation. Not a temporary flash.-In-The-Pan, here-Today-Go-Tomorrow is your pipe dream.
How my Life has Changed

While everyone needs money to survive, making money isn’t an end in itself – it’s the choices and freedom that money can give you that I value.

In 2007, after two years as a professional blogger, I realized two of my dreams – I bought a brand new car and purchased my own house – all from the proceeds of my blog business!
Suzuki Swift

I was able buy a brand new Suzuki Swift, with tinted glass, safety pack, and rustproofing. I paid $25,000 cash in one lump sum.

BMW

I bought the Swift for myself, and gave it to my mother a few years later. “man-toy” car. I paid $85,000 for a brand new BMW 135i — definitely an upgrade on the Suzuki!

1. The First House

Buying new cars is a great feeling, but it didn’t compare to experiencing what most people consider a lifelong dream – to buy my own home.

My first purchase was a three-year-old, new product.-Two bedrooms-My home city of Brisbane is just 15 minutes away from the centre of the city. This townhouse has a story. The house has a gas kitchen, back garden, large living area, garage, air conditioning and it’s very modern!

The Half-Million Bachelor Pad

In 2009, just two years after purchasing my first home, I bought a second property. It was a half.-Apartment in Brisbane’s inner city for a million dollars, featuring a huge outdoor area, swimming pool and gourmet kitchen.

And this really blows my mind — I completely paid off the entire loan for my new apartment just two years later!

I was a “property millionaire” This blog, which I started in 2005, helped me to reach my goal of turning 30 before I was even born.

You can travel the world and make money at the same time!

One of the great things blogging gives you is that you’re not tied down to one location. You can work anywhere as long as you have an Internet connection and a laptop.

I recently went on an 8-month trip around the world, where I ran my blog using only my laptop.

I rented beautiful apartments in each city and blogged the entire time. There’s just no way I could travel like this if I had a “real job”.

I even managed to come home after my travels with more money in my bank account than when I left – how often do you hear people say that about their holidays!
Blogging Has Changed…

Ende 2014 I decided to teach again how to make money blogging using my unique formula that I had developed over seven years.

Many things have changed. The internet has become a much more crowded place since I started.

This has changed the way you start a blog.

Returned to the “good old days” Blogs can be started by choosing topics you are passionate about. People will then find you. Traffic would pour in as no one else was doing this.

You can then switch to advertising if you are ready.

Sadly this just doesn’t work anymore. It’s an out-This is an outdated model, as there are many websites that have been around for a while.

StressedYou can spend months writing content and your traffic does not grow.

You can spend your whole life trying to increase traffic via social media and mobile apps.

It’s enough to drive anyone crazy!

Then there is the biggest problem of all…

You believe you aren’t succeeding because of how hard you work, or that you don’t produce enough content as top bloggers.

You decide to redouble your efforts, to do more – add a podcast or videos or some other kind of epic content, creating even more work.

It’s great to produce amazing content and have a podcast or do videos, but there’s a time to expand, and that’s in response to success, not in response to failure.
What happened to the simplicity of it all?

When things don’t work, you should not add more things to do – you will do more of what doesn’t work and end up even more tired and frustrated.

If you’re like most bloggers you feel frustrated by your lack of traffic and income and overwhelmed by all the things you are “supposed” To build an audience.

You’re tired of seeing other people get more and more traffic and earn more and more money, while you struggle to make even $1,000 per month.

You’ve been told the key to success is to produce mountains and mountains of free content, build relationships and engage a community.

It is difficult to imagine how you are supposed to do it all, especially when you work full-time.
