Course Content
Chapter 1 to 3
Navigation, User Interface, Working with 3D Objects, and More
~3:40 hrs running time| ~3:40 hrs running time
Find out more Blender 2.8. The first three chapters will explain how the revised user interface was created. Blender 2.8 works, how you navigate, how to use objects in 3D space, etc. These chapters are essential to understand. Blender 2.8 Make the next chapters more enjoyable.
We will do some exercises between the sections to help you consolidate what we have taught.
Chapter 4 & 5
Modeling Fundamentals & Exersice
64 Tutorials | ~5:05 hrs running time
A practical guide to modeling. The fourth chapter will cover all aspects of modeling, including workflows and tools, as well as how to solve specific modeling problems.
The fifth chapter will show you how to model by creating a car, and the environment assets step by step.
Chapter 6 & 7
Exercise and Shading Fundamentals
1 :20 hrs Running Time| ~1:20 hrs running time
The 3d world is full of color. The sixth chapter will cover all the fundamentals of working with materials. Blender 2.8 This is also known as “Shading”). We also examine the new “Look Dev Viewport Shading”This allows us to view 3D scenes in various lighting conditions, and all material changes in real-time.
We’ll be practicing shading and coloring all assets that we have modeled in the previous chapters.
Note: This chapter will not cover UV mapping or texturing to keep it beginner-friendly. These topics will be covered in the future as an added bonus chapter.
Chapter 8 & 9
Particle Simulation & World Creation
11 tutorials | ~1:10 hrs running time
Easy 3D world creation. This chapter explains how to use particle simulation to quickly grow large forests or create raindrops.
We will use these techniques in the ninth chapter to assemble all of our assets into one big desert scene.
Chapter 10 & 11
Lighting Basics and Exercise
~1:05 hrs running time| ~1:05 hrs running time
Turn on the lights. You will find all the essentials about how to use lights in the tenth Chapter. Blender 2.8. We’ll be discussing different lighting types and important settings. Also, we will show you how to use the background to brighten your scene.
The eleventh chapter will be used to practice lighting. This is done by adding light to the 3D scene from the previous chapters. It creates a beautiful mood.
Chapter 12 & 13
Animation Basics and Exercise
1;50 hrs of running time| ~1:50 hrs running time
Make it come to life. You will learn the essentials of how to animated 3D objects, properties and forms in the 12th chapter. We’ll be taking a look at different animation editors, keyframe interpolations as well as animation modifiers.
In the thirteenth chapter, we will bring the 3D scene from the previous chapters to life. We will animated the flying car, take various camera shots, and crash it into a rock.
Chapter 14 & 15
Exercises and rendering fundamentals
16 tutorials | ~1:05 hrs running time
Make sure you publish it. The fourteenth chapter will cover all the basics of rendering and generating still images. We’ll be learning more about the output and render settings and taking a deeper look at the EEVEE real-time render engine. We will also take a look at Cycles, which creates high-quality renders, and Workbench, which allows us to create technical images.
In the fifteenth chapter, we will render the final animation and turn it into a video you can view from outside. Blender Share your online experiences with friends and followers.
Below is the final result.

Zacharias Reinhardt
Blender Foundation Certified Trainer
Embarking in the world of Blender It can be frustrating and overwhelming to work in 3D. It’s something I can relate to. When I ed with Blender 3D was 15 years ago in 2004. I did not have any one to show me how it works. I also didn’t have YouTube tutorials and no internet access (it was slow).
Many things had to be done on my own, which was sometimes very painful and took me a while. I haven’t let this stop me from following my dreams. I eventually became a freelance 3D artist, coach and made my living as a result. BlenderEducation, 3D art, education
It was worth it in the end. However, looking back at my beginnings, I wish I had someone to guide me and to show me where to go, how to overcome pain points, and how to create 3D art.
My experience as a freelance 3D artist, and teacher has allowed me to work on clients’ projects. Blender to companies, freelancers, and individuals for the past 7+ years, I’ve identified typical pain points, that can make your journey unnecessarily hard, when learning Blender.
That’s why I carefully crafted the Blender 2.8 Launch Pad course, so you don’t have to go through the same troubles I had to go through, and make your into the 3D world less painful and more fun.
These are the opinions of our students about this course
The best course I have ever taken on 3d. Blender
“I’m a professional online teacher and have produced over 800 videos on Lightroom and Photoshop. So I know a thing or two about teaching online and this course is amazing. I hesitated on buying the course because I have some kind of “ok” Foundation for using Blender I was afraid it would be boring.
I was wrong. I watched every video in three days. This was something I’d never done before or seen on TV. “Games of Thrones”. It cleared up so much confusion that I was having Blender. I did the same and created my own car. I bought a Model 3 Tesla, which I love.
Zach is my favorite teacher. Blender There are many reasons to do this:
– He’s not too fast or too slow
He makes difficult concepts simple with simple words
Everything is simple and intermediate
He uses lots of funny examples
His English is very easy to understand and he is friendly.
Teachable is the system he uses to deliver the course. It is also an amazing experience to watch the tutorial.
Learn if you’ve ever wanted to. Blender run for it!.”
Serge Ramelli, Photographer and Online Teacher @Photoserge.com
You are beyond impressed!
“The Blender 2.8 Launch Pad course is excellent! I highly recommend this course to anyone ing their 3D design journey or upgrading to Blenders new UI. I am a professional 3D print designer and love seeing how his tips relate to my medium. Zach is extremely clear in his lessons and very active in the comments, in case you run into any obstacles. Can’t wait for more!”
Jayson Wall, CEO at Print That Thing
As a former teacher, this is one of the best courses I’ve ever seen
“I’ve taught everything from marketing to art and this is one of the best laid out courses I’ve ever seen. I’ve used other courses from across the internet, both paid and free and there’s so much attention to detail that Zach has added to the course.
After completing the course, it occurred to me that I learned 3D modeling, simple texturing, lighting, and animation in a way that has felt way more fun and simple than other courses I’ve taken on those single subjects alone.
Zach pours so much thought into these courses and I’m totally confident that anyone can walk away from this course with a strong grasp of modeling fundamentals and a super impressive animation to share.
I give Zach’s Blender 2.8 Launch Pad course the highest recommendation that I can give.”

3D modeling with a friend talented
“I have been working in graphic design in a communication agency for over 20 years and I learned 3D on the job. Today, I want to acquire a real skill and release my creativity on Blender. So I took advantage of the release of Blender 2.8 to let me guide by Zach. As always, I take advantage of his teaching talent, the clarity of his explanations and the joy he conveys to each video. It is simply a pleasure to finally understand Blender globally and to be able to become autonomous in my production process. Pure happiness for all who want to become professionals! All with this extra soul of the Blender community.
Just a huge thank you, Zach!”
